Hello peeps!! I'm back again to my hostel in KL!! How was your Christmas? I had a great time celebrating mine with my family and relatives @ Pavilion :) Will blog about it later when I am free kay? Lots of photos to upload and given the rate of speed of my hostel wifi line, I think it will take a loooooooong time to upload them all so I might just wait till the weekends and do it at home instead -.- Anyway, do stay tuned for my Christmas post ya!! :D

To be honest, I am still in festive mood. So not prepare and not in the mood to start class tomorrow. My mind is still on a holiday mode. Hello mind, it's time for you to come back to study mode okay? :/ 

On another note, we did a exchange gift session last night and guess what I got as my Christmas gift?

TADA!!! 

So cute right? =D I have yet to give him a name but one thing for sure, I am going to cuddle him to sleep every night from tonight onwards..LOL

Okay, that's all for today. Gotta do some read-ups before I go to bed again :( Class from 10am-12pm and from 2-5pm tomorrow >.< Byeee!!

Guess what? Despite the fact that I am actually going to celebrate Christmas at KL tomorrow, I am home LOL Thanks daddy for coming all the way to KL to fetch me home today <3 What a surprise! :D As usual, it feels so good to be home. Takes my mind off university life a little. Awesome! :D For now, festive mood is on!!!!!! Yay!! Excited to celebrate Christmas with family and relatives tomorrow =D

Light Painting ♥

My friend taught me something new today. Light painting :) It's kinda hard to explain how here but still I will try to explain and hope you understand it..haha!! Basically you just need a camera with shutter speed function and a torchlight @ pentorch. Set the shutter speed function and the time you want eg, 2 sec, 3 sec up to 15 sec or maybe more. It all depends on what you wanna draw. After setting the time, press the shutter button and start drawing anything you like with the torchlight/pentorch and the camera will absorb the light and produce a picture of what you just draw :) But this doesn't works everytime though. You still need the skill and get used to it before you can produce nice pictures :D

Tried it a few times just now and this is what I got.

The Second Day~

Finally, got to know who my clinical supervisor, partners and client are today. I can say I am pretty satisfied with what I got so far and hopefully I'll still feel so when clinic practicals really starts :/ Briefing ended earlier than the expected time and my group had to meet our supervisor at 3pm. After the meeting, I think I dread entering clinic more -.- 

Anyway, still I know I have to face this fear. Gotta call up my client by tomorrow to make sure whether they can come to the session. It will be on every Tuesday starting from January 2011 for 10 weeks. Hopefully I will receive some good news when I call them up tomorrow *fingers crossed* :) This will all be my first time. First time having a client of my own, First time calling up clients to make an appointment, First time handling a case, First time doing an assessment, First time doing a therapy and so on. To be honest, the thought of entering clinic is kinda scary but then I am a lil excited  and kinda looking forward to what I can learn from this :) It's time for me to start practicing and I believe, Practice makes perfect :) 

Don't be afraid to make mistakes, but make sure you don't repeat the same mistakes twice. Mistakes help us to learn and will only make us stronger. This I think will be my motto for entering my clinic practicals this semester LOL

On another note, thanks to my friend who went to Pavilion today, I finally had Snowflake today. That's the first thing I think of when she asked "Do you want anything to eat from Pavilion?" LOL and my mind goes "Oh yes!! Snowflake!!" :D Miss it so-so much!!! It's been quite some time since I last had it and you know what? It tasted extra yummy today!!! =D

Thanks to her for buying it back for me, I can have it at the comfort of my hostel room. Awesome much :D

Okay, I think that's all for today. Gotta continue with some of my read-ups and then sleep. It's clinic spring cleaning day tomorrow and it starts at 8.30am!! So early >.< And oh ya, our lecturer decided to have a class on Friday so yeah, my plan to go back on Thursday FAIL!! T_____T

What a start!!

Just came back from a meeting a while ago. Went to Setapak for dinner with some of my coursemates before that. It was raining so heavily when we were out so we had to settle in a restaurant instead of eating at hawker stalls. I had black pepper chicken chop but the taste was just so-so. Slight disappointment :( 

By the way, you would not have guess how my new semester starts. I expected it to be packed with class as soon as we came back from our holidays but it turn out to be the total opposite!! :O No class for the entire week this week except for some clinic briefing tomorrow and spring cleaning the day after. Can't believe I am actually quite free this whole week. Awesome much!! LOL

So, today feels pretty much like a holiday. Spent my day with an episode of a drama, a movie about a kid with dyslexia, nap and last but not least, online =D But the line gets so slow sometimes, it makes me fed up -.- This is one thing I hate about my hostel. Tortoise speed wifi -____-

On another note, we will be having our clinic orientation briefing tomorrow to determine who our partners, supervisor and client in the clinic are for our clinic practicals. I am feeling pretty nervous since I don't know who and what case I will be getting :O Hoping for the best now. Let's just see how it goes tomorrow :)

Hello KL, I am back.

Farewell long holidays!! Goodbye home!! Hello KL!! Welcome busy study life!! >.<

Reached here at about 3 something just now. Unpacked my things, cleaned my room and then went out again with my family to Times Square.

Had our dinner at the newly-opened Taste of Asia Food Court there and came back soon after that :) On the way back, I stopped by my course department to see whether the timetable is out and guess what? They have yet to post it up!! :O So what time should I wake up tomorrow? Are we going to have any lecture or not? If ya, what time? Nobody knows. So how now, you tell me?! -_________-

It feels a lil weird to be back to my hostel, my room that I have left for almost 2 months. I am so used to the comfort of home during the holidays. I guess I need some time to get use to life @ hostel all over again :/

On a brighter note, Christmas will be here in 6 days!! Can't wait for it to arrive!! :D Celebrating Christmas this year at KL with my family and relatives @ Bukit Bintang area and Pavilion :) We will all be spending a night at The Prince Hotel & Residencies :) Ahhh...I just love family gatherings like this :) Can't wait, can't wait!! Hehe =D

When holidays are going to end, thoughts like this came to mind...

Tic-tock. Time flies. In fact, time pass so fast I lose track of it. Days and days pass just like that :O Tomorrow will finally be the day my holiday ends. How fast can this be?!! :O Where have my holidays gone to? Lots of relaxing activities and lack of study-related activities for sure. The truth is, I think I hardly touch any books :/ Whatever happen to my plan to prepare for my next semester? X_X Oh well, too late to regret upon it now.

Honestly, I have mixed feelings upon knowing my holidays are going to end. A part of me is excited to start my new semester cause I think I am rusting at home :/ Kinda looking forward to what this new semester will bring me :) But, another part of me is not cause that means my busy life is gonna start all over again. Stress is gonna be there for sure and most importantly, I will start having my clinic practicals!! Will be getting a patient of my own to practice next semester and with supervisors monitoring everything I do, it will determine whether I pass or fail. Well, that does sound scary don't you think? I seriously don't know whether I am ready for it. Entering the clinic for my clinic practicals is my greatest fear in this course cause there's where most people fail!! :O

Alright, alright. Gonna get all these negative thoughts out of my mind. I believe I can do it if I put my heart to it :) It won't be easy. I might stumble during the journey and I have to be strong enough to stand up and face everything once again :) I can, I can, I can!!! I believe God will be with me every step of the way :) Let's just hope my positive spirit will remain this high most of the time once my semester starts *fingers crossed* Wish me all the best!! :)

Our movie ended at about 1 something and we went for our lunch.

Daddy actually wanted to go for Kim Gary but it was full house + there were still many people waiting outside to get a seat!! :O 

So, we settled down at Vivo instead.

Had this Choco Brownies Mallows as my drink. A tad too sweet I think.

And I ordered this Lemon Herb Salmon as my main course :) Yummy but the portion was a kinda big for me. Daddy ended up finishing it all off for me =/

Jipaban - My 2010 Santarina

Here comes December again, the last month of the year and know what I look forward to every December? It's none other than Christmas!!! :) December has always been associated with Christmas and come December, everywhere around the world will be decorated with Christmas decors and it makes me happy just looking at how beautiful they are :) But most importantly, Christmas means remembering God and spending time with family, one thing I treasure the most :)

My family is not a Christian family so I never really celebrated Christmas the usual way of having roast turkey or opening up presents. Although they are not baptized, they believe in God like my sis and I do. My sis and I would usually be the ones going to church on Sunday & joining some church activities. It was not until last year that my sis and I finally made the decision to be baptized together :) Thus, last year's Christmas was a really meaningful one to all of us :)

This year's Christmas marks the 1st year we are baptized and I really do want to make it a special one for my sis :) Since we have never really celebrated Christmas, this year, I would like to make it a memorable by giving her a present and Jipaban had given me a chance to do just that! :D For those who don't know, Jipaban is actually a customizable online shopping mall with social networking. I was delighted when I know Jipaban is actually having a blogging contest for this Christmas!! All I have to do is just to choose a gift from Jipaban and write a blog post on who and why I want to give this gift to and stand a chance to win!! Not only will I be getting the item I blogged about, but it'll be sent to the person I meant for just in time for Christmas, completely free of charge!! How awesome is that?!

To be honest, I had trouble choosing a gift from Jipaban website cause you know what? There's sooooo many things to choose from!! :O But finally, I decided to choose this white dots on black labtop sleeve with white bow for my sis :)

The reason being because it's cute which will be perfect for my sis who has always love cute stuffs just like me :) Morever, she is looking for a labtop bag but till now, hadn't found one she likes so I am sure she would like this cute labtop bag :) And most importantly, I would really wanna give her a gift this Christmas for all that she  had done for me as a sister and also as a gift to mark our 1st year of  officially being a Christian :) Well, who wouldn't like presents right? :)

Shopping Weekend :)

Last weekend was a shopping weekend for my family and I. Went to Mid Valley Megamall on Saturday, spent a night at Cititel MV and came back on Sunday :)

Christmas decors there were awesome!! So pretty :)

Saw so many giant teddy bears!!! o.O Love, love, love every single one of them!! I want to bring one home!! T_T

The whole shopping mall was decorated with Christmas trees & stuffs. Couldn't resist to snap some photos with all the beautiful decors :)

Overall, it was an awesome trip!! Managed to buy some dress, T-shirts and a bag :) Spending time with love ones is  a blissful thing to do. Looking forward to more trips like this in the future :)

Hello bloggie!!! I am back!! :))) Had a great time shopping, nomming good food and spending some quality time with my family these 2 days. Overall, my shopping weekend was an awesome one!! :D

I loveeeeee the Christmas decorations @ Mid Valley so much!! There were so many giant teddy bears and I literally feel like bringing one home!! LOL Will post up the photos later in my next post. Stay tuned :)

Good news, Bad news...

My results are finally out. Felt a sign of relieve and happiness when I saw the number I wanted to see for my pointer last night. Of cause I do hope it's higher but I am contented :) Thank you so much God :)

I know very well that it was not the best result but it's the result I get after trying my very best so I thank God for it :) Given the fact that I  reached my target pointer, I am satisfied. But of cause, I will try improving it next time around :) It is going to get tougher and I know I will be needing a lot of strength and courage to go through it. I need to be strong. 1 1/2 years down, 2 1/2 years to go. Praying that I will able to survive these remaining years and graduate in time :)

Well, this is the good news I received last night.

And then I saw this bad news.

I guess most of us will know the news about a young man dying for love. Saw many people tweeting about it last night so I decided to find out exactly what happened. Apparently, I found out that this young man committed suicide because of a love relationship that didn't worked out. He jumped from the 14th floor of a building to his death and he actually left a last note on his FB profile hours before he jumped!! :O I can't believe a quite good looking guy like him did that!! I guess sometimes love make some do irrational decisions :(

His death received a lot of comments. Some good ones, some bad ones. Some say he died for true love but I guess most thinks that it's just a dumb act. How could he had make that decision to just commit suicide because of a girl? Now the girl is going to live in guilt for the rest of her life. Pity her :( And his family must be devastated. He should have been stronger and just move on. A failed relationship is not the end of the world but I guess he thinks it is :(((

Dying should never be an option. It's not a solution to a problem. Everyone needs God. If only he knew God,   he would not have done this. He would be able to stand up once more and face the world instead of coming to this decision. Although I don't know him much, but still I feel sad knowing this happened. Another young soul gone from this world just like that. RIP Alviss Kong :(((

Okay. Enough of the sad news. Back to some good news :D

This weekend gonna be another shopping weekend for me. Spending a night at Cititel, MidValley tomorrow and will only be back by Sunday. Wheeeeeeee!!! I can shop non-stop these two days!!! LOL

I believe this happens to most students all around the world. We get all excited when exams are over & the total opposite when we know results are out. I call this, a part of student's life =/ So, yes, tomorrow is "The Day". It's results day x_x To be honest, I don't know whether I am prepared to face whatever results that I am going to get. Gahhhhh...I just don't know what to expect and I am seriously pretty scared + nervous thinking about it now -.- Praying hard that it won't be that bad. At least just let me reach my target pointer. Pleaseeeeeeee T___T

On a brighter note, my trip to Sarawak next year is already confirmed :) Finally, all flights are booked. Teehee =D I am getting really excited about the trip although we won't be going until July next year -.- And also despite not knowing how I am going to end my 2nd year. Will I be able to survive & end it with a happy note to enjoy my trip? Hoping for the best  :/

Last night. Celebrated one of my secondary school mate birthday :)

Went for a movie right after the blowing candles + cutting cake ceremony and guess what movie we watched?

Rapunzel cause it's the only show with a suitable time for us. LOL

Well, 2 out of 8 of us had actually watched the movie before and yes, that 2 is including me..haha..Watched it online for my first time and it was a lil blurry & with no subtitle, sometimes it's kinda hard to catch what they are talking about. So, watching it for the 2nd time at the cinema is much much better :D
